The Perry/Hupp Family History

This site is dedicated to the family of Genesee Jack Perry and Audrey Zella Hupp and all those who came before them and all those who shall follow.

Genesee Jack PERRY was the the son of John Quincy PERRY, born February 2, 1893 on Twelve Pole Creek, Lincoln County, WV, who married Lola Lee PARSONS, born November 24, 1884 in Ripley, Jackson County, WV, on December 16, 1911 in West Virginia. They moved to the homestead on Cats Creek, Washington County, Ohio in 1917 from Parkersburg, WV where they had owned a retail store. They raised ten children, one girl and nine boys. All but three of the boys were born on Cats Creek.

Audrey Zella HUPP is the daughter of Samuel Martin HUPP, born February 13, 1886 in Rinards Mill, Washington County, OH, who married Catherine Eunice GRAHAM, born November 20, 1893 in Rinards Mill, Washington County, OH, They lived in Byesville, Guensey County, OH and raised six children, three boys and three girls. Samuel was a farmer and a oil well Roustabout.
